New Half-Powered Models

The Liverpool XV, the Express XVIII and the Rocket XVIII. These versions have been added to the original lineup due to the demand for lower power amplifiers in settings where full power amplifiers are not practical. Response to these new models has been outstanding.

EL34’s are generally considered to be the output tube of choice by the majority of players for the Express and The Express XVIII. They are louder with more lower end punch than the most common output tube alternative, 6V6’s. There are numerous output tube substitutions that will work in the Express, though the bias may have to be adjusted for best performance.

Since each amp is individually built, accommodations for numerous alternative tubes and configurations can be implemented.
